Issue #8 notes that the wines from Spain are the most exciting and improved in all of Europe and the wines of Ribera del Duero have achieved international acclaim. The issue examines the key factors contributing to the success and quality of the region's wines. It details the special qualities of the Tempranillo grape, looks closely at the viticulture and winemaking practices and examines the principal factors leading to variations in style.
